I feel really bad for that mad dog. I wonder if Tom Johnson is gonna ever realize that his dog was mad and that Atticus had to shot him. I can't beleive that Atticus never told me that he could shoot like that, but i don't blame him cause it isn't exactly somethin to be proud of. Scout better keep her mouth shut and not go around tellin the kids at school about it cause i told her not to and i am sure Atticus wouldn't want it going around town. You should've seen Calpurnia though. She was racing all over town tellin people bout the mad dog. She even went to the Radley place but I don't know why.
Ms Dubose is the rudest person on the planet! She was talkin bout how Atticus is defending a black man and she was saying all these nasty things bout it. So I took Scouts baton and took the tops off of all her camellies. But ofcourse I got in trouble for it even though Ms Dubose deserved what she got and now i have to read to that old and nasty woman each day after school! I would rather do anything but read to her. Luckly, Scout said she would come with me so I don't have to be alone with her. I can't wait till my punishment is done!

I wish i would have never shot that dog. I feel so bad for you guys having to see that. I was surprised to know that I still had my old one shot in me. I am very proud of Calpurnia for running all over town, she did the right thing. Mrs. Dubose is not rude. She might say somethings but it is not her fault. She has a morphine addiction and it makes her go insane sometimes. Just ignore everything she says and do not let her get to you. You will be done you punishment soon enough and it will all be over with. But you still shouldn't have messed up her camellies.

ReplyDeleteMrs. Dubose is a mean lady and I think she got what was comin' to her. I don't think it was fair that you had to readto that mean ol' bat for a month. I only came 'long 'cause I had nothin' better to do...and I can't wait 'til you punishment is done either!!!
I woulda thought that the dog was just sick. He didnt look mad to me!Me neither, i had not a clue that Atticus could do that with a gun. I really wana tell people about Atticus! But fine, i guess i wont tell anyone. Cal was acting really crazy i guess she'd seen a mad dog before.

I cant belive you broke my Batwan you just bought it and then you go ahead and break it! I am still upset about that. I'd reckon i wouldof not done that to you! Yup, i wouldnt leave you alone with that crazy woman, but reading was kinda boring. At least it is over, but its kinda sad she died. Hm....

But, I have to agree wit you on the whole Cal thing, racin all over town. I dont know why she did it either, and the Radlys place. Why the sam hill would she be goin ova there.
